We offer the licenced Vampire Facelift procedure. Any variation to this procedure may be inferior.
The Vampire Facelift® procedure is not for everyone. Many would do better with surgery, or laser therapy, Botox®, or HA filleralone.
Our physician is passionate about offering the right procedure for your face and will advise you on the best course of action.
Why Vampire Facelift?
Cosmetic surgery can remove excess skin and make a person appear younger, but if loss of elasticity, texture of the skin and a loss of volume is the main concern, then a Vampire Facelift may be more than enough.
The Vampire facelift involves the use of your own platelets rich plasma (PRP) to rejuvenate your skin. We draw some blood and spin it in a centrifuge, separating the PRP. We remove and discard the red blood cells, which leaves us with a yellow serum that has all the significant elements of blood, plus the platelets, with eight growth factors which stimulate the production of collagen, or angiogenesis.
A combination of small injections, canula (inserted into the cheeks) and Dermapen are used to inject the PRP into your face. Anaesthetic cream and anaesthetic injections are used before the procedure to minimise discomfort.
The growth factors contained in the platelets then activate multi-potent stem cells that produce new collagen tissue (for smoothness), new blood vessels (for a healthy glow) and new fatty tissue to “repair” the skin. The treatment reduces pores and blemishes and gives you an overall healthier, younger and more rejuvenated looking skin. Over time, you can get around 10-15% more volume in your face, which can last a few years. It takes about eight weeks to see the final results.
The procedure may be complemented with fillers to sculpt a beautiful and natural shape. Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers lift the skin away from the bone to restore youthful volume and shape. Our doctor considers the mathematics of beauty as defined by much research to avoid creating an unnatural shape. The new research about HA fillers is not commonly known even among the best of cosmetic surgeons. The fillers will be effective for six to seven months.
